I want you to know that it wasn’t supposed to end up like this.  I don’t know where I thought I was headed or what I was gonna do when left, but I just know it wasn’t THIS.”

So begins the letter of a teenage girl whose hasty decision to run away from home leads her into the nightmare life of a child prostitute.

Bait and Switch is a twenty-five minute video that exposes the terror and tragedy of child prostitution.  We speak to a convicted pimp, a former child prostitute, an undercover sergeant, a prosecuting attorney, a chief medical examiner who explain, in real-life terms and illustrate with actual cases, what the life of a child prostitute is like. 

Bait and Switch was created and produced by Brand Canyon Co. in conjunction with Apple Box Pictures under a grant provided by the Maricopa County Superior Courts (Arizona).  The Courts hopes that by showing this video to students across the state, it will raise awareness of potential risks and help avoid the traps used by some of society’s most unscrupulous predators.  We hope that the information in this video will help save children from the horrors of child prostitution.
